Can I join PPI?
If you have a music product for sale (in stores or at one of the recognised download sites) and, you own or exclusively licence master sound recording rights in the Republic of Ireland,
you can join PPI
.
How Much is membership of PPI?
Membership is free. After operational costs, everything is distributed to our members.
If I join PPI, what collection rights am I assigning to PPI?
By joining PPI, you are mandating PPI to collect and administer your public performance and broadcasting rights.
What happens once I apply for membership?
Once criteria is met and application received:
- Assignments issued
- Return ALL signed and witnessed copies of assignments issued (Audio and/or Video) and Excel Track Registration Form (if not applying online)
- Membership approved by board

No,
ISRC's
are separate to PPI membership.

If you own the master rights to your sound recordings (public performance & broadcasting) in ROI,

If you own the master rights to your sound recordings (public performance & broadcasting) in ROI,
you can join PPI

What are the differences in societies in Ireland?
PPI - Record companies, producers, self-releasing artists. Sound recording copyright owners.
