Broadcasting Music?

If you broadcast recorded music — whether on radio, TV, online, or through any other platform — you need a PPI licence.

Broadcasting means transmitting music to an audience beyond the family circle — from commercial radio stations and TV networks to internet streaming services and web radio.

A PPI licence ensures that the record companies and performers behind the music you broadcast are fairly paid. PPI has been at the heart of music licensing in Ireland since 1968, collecting and distributing royalties on behalf of thousands of rights holders across the country.
